There are lots of ways you can have monkey themed food at a baby shower.  You can make a monkey cake with special pans, bowls, or cake toppers.  Cupcakes can be decorated to look like monkeys with simple icing Oreos, Vanilla Wafers, or cupcake toppers.  You can also make a lot of foods that feature bananas since bananas go perfectly with the monkey baby shower theme.  Banana pudding, chocolate covered bananas, and banana punch are all great options.  Here are some of our favorite ideas for using the monkey theme with your cake and food.

You can print and use our free monkey themed cupcake toppers for an inexpensive way to add some monkey to cupcakes.  You can use them in the square shape as shown on the PDF if you want to keep things easy, but they’re also designed to be cut with a 2″ circle punch (or by hand with scissors).  After the toppers are cut out, you can adhere them to popsicle sticks with tape and then add them to either homemade or store-bought cupcakes.
