Real Ladybug Baby Showers

real ladybug baby showers

One great way to get ideas for the baby shower you’re hosting is to take a look at some “real” showers that have used the same theme that you’re wanting to use.  You can find lots of ideas for decorations, food, games, and more by browsing different showers.  Here are some websites and blogs that feature some of our favorite real ladybug themed baby showers for you to gain some inspiration from.

  1. Blog 5 to 9 - This ladybug shower from Blog 5 to 9 is a great example of the different ways you can use the ladybug theme at a baby shower.  The hostesses did a wonderful job using ladybugs throughout the shower as well as more neutral decorations that accent the theme.  We love all the polkadots and red and black colors used throughout most the shower.
  2. The Cake Blog - If you’re wanting to use colors other than red and black for your shower you should check out this real shower from The Cake Blog.  It uses pink, brown, and white with its decorations and the shower is just beautiful.  You can find bunches of ideas no matter what colors you’re using.
  3. Yellow Bliss Road - This ladybug themed event is actually for a little girl’s birthday party.  There are, though, lots of great ideas that you can find from this party.  The decorations are really cute and simple, and we especially like all the food.  You’ll find a table full of red and black items and some even feature ladybugs.
  4. Lemonberry Moon - There are some really great ideas for ladybug themed food at this shower from Lemonberry Moon.  Our favorite parts of this shower are the adorable decorated cookies and the cupcakes with grass icing and ladybug toppers.  There are several other ladybug food ideas that you can see, too.
  5. Kara’s Party Ideas - This is another ladybug birthday party that you can get lots of inspiration from.  The food table at this party is absolutely gorgeous and it looks delicious.  We also like the ladybug garland and the use of grass in the decorations.
  6. Migonis Home - This is another ladybug shower that has a lot of good food ideas.  We really like all the polkadots and stripes that were used to decorate the shower.   You could easily replicate a lot of the shower ideas seen here like the cupcakes with black and red polkadot icing.
  7. How to Nest for Less - You can find inspiration and some free printable resources for your ladybug baby shower from How to Nest for Less.  This is also a birthday party but most of it’s elements should also work for a baby shower.
  8. Hostess With the Mostess - If you have the time to make a lot of the decorations for the shower you’re throwing, there are a lot of crafty ideas that you can find from this party seen on Hostess With the Mostess.  We really like the different color palette and the large polka dots decorating the walls.
